Ryon Xavier Smith – a concept sculptor, monster creator, animation creator and toy designer living in Vancouver, BC – has decided to bring two of his favorite things together – samurais and hockey (specifically, the Detroit Red Wings). The Hockey Samurai Warrior stands 10" tall and will (probably) by released as a limited run of 100 pieces.
These will most likely be done as a DIY project. And while I'd love to get my hands on an already painted up figure, I guess since getting the NHL license might be difficult, you could customize the piece as your favorite goalie.
