Joy Michel (former VP of Creative for Ty Inc. and designer on 9 of their plush lines including Beanie Babies) and Rocket USA designer and founder, Michael Perry, have teamed up to release a truly huggable plush line - Lubies.  The first series will officially launch on January 9th at the Atlanta Gift Show, with more information available at Lubieland.com.

Included in the first series of 8 are the Lubie Cat, Cow, Polar Bear, Pig, Brown Bear, Elephant, Dog and Penguin as well as two seasonal releases just in time for Easter – Lubie Chick and Lubie Bunny.  Also available will be the first releases of the “My First Lubie” infant line featuring a baby pink and baby blue Lubie Bear.  Look for each of the softball sized (12" circumference) Lubies to retail around $8.99.
