Background

Germusu is a new line of “single celled pouches” from designer Vanessa Germosen and V.Germy Designs.  The first of little zipper-up plushies to become available is named Mooger.

Mooger’s not a booger
please do not confuse
he doesn’t like your nose,
he loves your stinky shoes

Packaging

While the Germusu line doesn’t have any packaging, each plush comes with a tag attached to its zipper.  On that tag is a drawing of and poem about the character.

The Figure

Mooger, the single celled pouch, is approximately 4” tall.  It’s made out of green fleece and has printed on eyes (and a nose) as well as little hairs coming out of the top of its head.

The Germusu plush has a clip so that you can attach it to the belt loop or a bookbag.  The mouth is a red and white zipper, and if you open it up, the inside lining is red.  You can actually use these plushies as change purses.

Our Opinion

Loose change is a pain in the butt, right?  I always have nickels and quarters rolling around the bottom of my messenger bag (I’m not really a messenger, though).  So why not pick up a cute, little plush that also doubles as a change purse?

The Germusu line, while it currently only consists of one character, is set to grow by a number of other “germs” in various colors shapes. The design is nice and simple, but cute enough for kids, teens and adults to carry them around.
