Kidrobot has released their mini figure, blind box series based on Matt Groening's The Simpsons. I guess the real question is...is The Simpsons still a relevant television show? After 20 years, are there still enough fans out there who are into vinyl toys who will buy this line? Each blind box will run $7.95 and the toys are 3" in height. They're not to scale, so Homer is the same size as Maggie, etc.

thats my biggest pet peeve of this series. The figures should be scaled! For a series that begs to be shown in it's entirety it's rather distracting that maggie is the same size as homer and the biggest figure in the series is a chimpanzee.

Before I got into collecting vinyl and plush, I was a huge Simpsons collector, but I eventually got tired of it when the show became completely unwatchable.
That said, these are pretty cute, and I'll probably pick up a few, as they fit in nicely with the rest of my Dunnys and Hazmapos and what have yous. For those wanting scaled consistency, there are plenty of other Simpsons lines to collect (World of Springfield is probably the best). I like that these have Dunny bodies, that's the point, they'd look retarded if they were any shorter or taller than each other.
