REVIEW: Boxee Toyer BB

Img_3604

Background

Toy2R celebrated releasing their 1,000th Qee by producing the very special Boxee Toyer BB figure.  In order to make it super special, they needed to shoot for a design that was never attempted before.  The BB figure does that with it's clear vinyl encapsulating a number of colored BB’s inside of the head.

Packaging

The figure is carded and in a plastic tray.  The packaging is easy to open (just slide out the card), and you can easily replace it without knowing you tampered with the packaging.

The Figure

Like all of the 2.5” tall Qees, the Boxee Toyer BB figure has 5 points
of articulatio
n (arms, legs and head) and comes with a keychain
accessory.

It’s made of clear, hard plastic.  The head is actually hollow, which
allows for the mini plastic BB’s to move freely.  The mini balls are
colored green, blue, red and yellow.

Our Opinion

In order for Toy2R to justly celebrate their 1,000th Qee design, they
needed to do it in style.  And while something that shot out flames or
produced cash would have been impressive, this design is a lot of fun.

Who doesn’t like clear vinyl?  And the head of the Boxee Toyer BB
design looks a little bit like a gumball machine.  And just in case the
maraca player in your mariachi band forgets his or her instrument, you
can step in with two of these guys and shake to the music.

You can pick one up at the following:

After scouring the internet, I found it at...
