Background
Erick Scarecrow and his ESC Toy label recently released the Mousey Micci line of plushies. The 12" plush has been released in 3 different Super Hi-Tech Mousey Suit colors: the original Green Master, Pink Rage, and Midnight Marauder. Each of these suits is armed with different abilities…that is, if you have the needed imagination.
Mousey Micci is the only surviving alien from his or her armada that made it through an asteroid belt on their way to conquer Earth. What happens when Mousey Micci lands in New York City will be revealed in the future.
Packaging
Each plush is enclosed in a plastic bag, which is good for keeping it clean before it gets to you. Other than that, you’ll just want to tear into it to get to your Micci. There is a tag attached to the ear, but it doesn’t give much information.
The Figures
Each Mousey Micci plush is approximately 12” in height and about 6” deep. The three different colorways (Green Master, Pink Rage and Midnight Marauder) are limited to runs of 100 pieces each.
As you can see, the plush has an extremely large head, as well as arms that are sewn to the body at the hands. As I found out, these stitches can be removed.
Our Opinion
If I’d allow my dogs the opportunity to rate toys, I would have to guess that the Mousey Miccis would be up at the top of the list. They seek out these plushies, and I’ve more than once found them in random spots around the house.
But I would probably have to agree with them. While the enormous head on the Mousey Micci might make it necessary to lean against a wall to display, that same giant noggin can be used as a comfortable pillow. It’s what will draw children and adults alike to the line.
So what will happen to the alien mouse? Well, Erick Scarecrow already has some pretty fun characters, but we’re hoping that the storyline continues to grow. (Our favorite colorways are in the following order: Midnight Marauder, Green Master and then Pink Rage)
