You might recognize FluffyBadBad as the winner of our 2006 Toy Award for Best Plush. OhNo!Doom’s first plush creation is more than just a plush doll. He has a few hidden surprises…that might not be so surprising after reading this review.
No matter how cute, cuddly, plump, mooshy or cooshy that are, FluffyBadBad’s are proof that cute things can and most definitely will bite. That’s right! Real biting action…you can make your FluffyBadBad bite dang near anything…but 99% of the time, they are just love bites.
Being a plush, FluffyBadBad is not packaged in anything. Each figure is tagged, much like a wild animal. That tag lists a hand-written limited edition number on it.
Each FluffyBadBad plush is 4.5” in height and about 3.5” wide. The
original run was limited to 300 pieces, however, a few extras have been
released due to the amount of demand.
What makes this plush a little different is that FluffyBadBad is a
chompin’ plush. He has a metal mechanism that makes up the figure’s
mouth. To open up the mouth, you insert your fingers into the rear of
the head (there are two holes for your thumb and index finger). FBB has
a beanbag in his bottom to help you display him amongst your other
toys. Oh…and a little pink butt with a heart tattoo on it.
Well…FluffyBadBad won our 2006 Plush of the Year, so that alone should
tell you that we like this plush. The biting action is very
unique…especially for a stuffed plush. However, I would be careful and
not let kids play with this…it’s not really a toy. A child could
easily lose a finger in the hard biting mouth.
Looking at quality, there are some issues around the mouth area. Since
the manufacturer had to use glue to secure the plush material to the
metal mouth, there is some residue on both surfaces. There are no
problems with stitching on the plush.
With OhNo!Doom revealing some of the new characters in the Fluffy
family, we’re looking forward to seeing what they come up with next.
You are going to have to search to find this figure...our sponsors are sold out of him.
