PlaysKewl has released 20 of his high-quality Twisted prints. Each print is signed and hand numbered and measures 11.7"x 16.5". PlaysKewl says: As real life can be a bit disturbing by the time you get caught up in the twisted gray mass called your brain. That might also be the reason this print is done in black an white.
Hmm...Sideshow has to get up pretty early in the morning to lay the ol' April Fools joke over on collectors. Although they haven't announced it, it has to be a matter of time before they announce their Extras & Ancillaries line is simply a ruse.
The first figure from the line would be Kal'Falnl C'ndros...a chicken-like character whose legs are supposedly the only thing seen in the original Star Wars film. Oooo...then they'd also produce products like Ewok tree branches and hospital gurneys!
Heck, I'd love to see a line that focuses on some of the lesser known creatures and characters from the Star Wars universe...but I think Sideshow might have the last laugh with this announcement.
Frank Kozik has designed the next Qee Magic of Color series for Toy2R. The Anarchy Series includes the Bear,Cat, Toyer and Kozik Qee designs. Look for the series to be shipped around June 2007...with a special version for sale at SDCC 2007. The suggested retail price is around $8 per piece.
Rain on parades, dropped ice cream cones; life has a way of balancing the good and the bad. Bitter Sweets: a solo show by Ryan Myers at PinkGhost in Ft. Lauderdale pits the bitter versus the sweet. Full of leering stares from disenchanted children, looming conversation hearts and other disastrous confections, this new series brings images of all-consuming melancholy to its paintings and custom vinyl toys. What better to explore the dichotomy of bitter/sweet than a candy land where contempt and loathing are disguised in cotton candy pinks and gumdrop greens.

Am I the only one who, upon hearing or reading Spider Boom, thinks of Guile from the original Street Fighter game? Remember he'd always yell....Sonic Boom!...if you did his special move? I'd always hit like all of the buttons at once and somehow make that happen.
Anyway...Toy2R is producing a 4", 8" and 12" Pink Spider Boom Plush. Hmm....maybe the little spider ate a little too much cherry pie.
Überbot, the first designer toy store in the southeastern U.S., kicked off their first of many 2007 art shows featuring some of Florida's best artists. Miami based artist, Terribly Odd, started things off by producing an evening of miserable art, crappy merchandise, and horrific personal hygiene. Odd, who's style is primed for the world of designer toys, created over 30 new pieces and characters for the show focusing on several different areas of pop culture like movies, music, monsters and fairy tales. The show was pushing a complete sell-out but some pieces, lithos and T's are still available. Go check 'em out!
Medicom Toy has released images of their 1/6 scale Jango Fett Real Action Hero (RAH). Based on the character from Star Wars II: Attack of the Clones, the figure looks just like actor Temuera Morrison. Hmm...this would go well alongside Medicom's Boba Fett RAH figure.
Andy has posted the following photo of Crazy Label's much anticipated Spring/Summer collection. I'm really liking the Seamour Sheep figure...this could be a super popular figure this year!
