REVIEW: Uglydolls – Peaco
The past several months have been like Christmas for Uglydoll fans. Moxy, Chuckanucka, the Secret Mission Uglydolls…now Peaco. David and Sun-Min are introducing the newest (and pinkest) character in the Ugly line.
Peaco is very shy. Well…shy on the outside. On the inside, Peaco is a wild man! You can see it in his eyes. All three. Peaco really shines when he is doing what he does best. DANCING! Peaco loves to dance in the water…much to the dread of his cousin Cinko. Why dance in the water? Well think about it! When you dance in the water, no one can see you! SHY! Remember? It’s kind of difficult explaining water dancing to lifeguards though. Please dance with Peaco. He’s seen your moves! (So don’t step on his ears.)
Uglydolls are free-range plush. They’re allowed to graze on their own without packaging…although they do have a tag with all sorts of important information (including what’s above) on it.
Like most of the larger Uglydolls, Peaco stands at 12” in height. The
7” Little Ugly and 4” tall Ugly keychain are also available. He is a
unique shade of pink…lighter than Uglydog and Bop N’ Beep. The long
ears are perfect for you’re your youngster to pull around. Collectors
might frown upon that though.
Peaco was introduced at SDCC. They were giving away a 2-foot tall
plush to one lucky winner at the Uglydoll booth. At first, I was impartial. I thought it
was a fine character…just not my favorite. I changed my mind once I
saw the 12” tall figure.
So maybe pink isn’t the manliest of colors, but I actually like it.
He’s probably my favorite of the current characters. (I think I say
that every time a new one is released.) I seem to think that David and
Sun-Min are focusing on ears lately. Long ears…round ears…and now
Even though Peaco is not currently available through the Uglydolls webstore…he can currently be pre-ordered for $20 (for the 12" plush).
