Melissa M. Levine is an artist, addicted to color, chaos, and creation. She finds inspiration in nature, mythology and magick. Melissa currently lives and works amoung the majestic redwoods on the northern coast of California with her husband and fellow artist, Relm Levine.

Original work by the artists from the Flight 3 anthology will be on exhibition
from July 8 to July 26 in our beautiful two-story gallery. We will be featuring
pages from the book along with other new, original works from the artists. The
show is geared for people of all kinds- from the art enthusiasts to the comic
buffs, Flight fans, and new readers interested in the exciting graphic
narrative art form. Following the success of our last Flight show this one
should be just as entertaining. Flight began as a small independent project
with an unpredictable future, but has quickly become a top-selling,
critically-acclaimed comics anthology now being published by Ballantine Books,
a division of Random House Publishing. Come join Nucleus and the Flight family
on this fun-filled night. We will have a DJ playing music and an official
Nucleus bartender will be serving drinks throughout the evening.

This July, over 30 artists will face their fears, from movie monsters to bedroom boogeymen and beyond, in Wootini's Lions, Tigers, Bears, Etc., a curatorial debut for artist David Huyck. Artists such as Colin Christian, Chris Ryniak, and The Little Friends of Printmaking will join Wootini friends Andrew Bell, Bwana Spoons, David K. Rose, Jermaine Rogers, and others, in this exploration of our various emotional tormentors. Oh, my!
The opening reception will be held July 14th, 2006, from 7pm to midnight, and the works will be on display until September 4th. After the close of the show, all the art will be collected in a catalog to be available nationally.
